Mission / Profile

Davidson Consulting is looking for mechanical research supervisors. Whether you want to specialise or embrace all the sector-based options available within Davidson (Automotive, Rail, Aeronautics, Space or Medical, to name just the key ones), it’s up to you!

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Analysing your customer’s specifications
  • Conducting preliminary technical research according to the specifications
  • Providing innovative, appropriate and convincing technical solutions
  • Overseeing product dimensioning and design work with your team
  • Managing the project schedule to anticipate any risks you may encounter
  • Managing your budget
  • And lastly, producing a few reports, because they’re a must

Skills (pre-existing or to be acquired)

  • You have a postgraduate degree (Masters, engineering qualification, mechanical engineering, mechatronics) and some initial experience in the field
  • You have skills in project management, scheduling and budgeting, and you’re not afraid of working with technical specialists from all backgrounds (electronics, automation, robotics, production, etc.).
  • You have strong skills in CATIA or SOLIDWORKS or INVENTOR or SIEMENS Nx or… well, you know: some sort of 2D/3D CAD software
