This year, Davidson transformed its annual party into an extraordinary journey. From the new Chalet du Lac, nestled in the Bois de Vincennes in the heart of the 12th arrondissement of Paris, guests were transported to four captivating destinations, each with its own world.
Each location was a new discovery, a different country to explore, offering a taste of holidays in just one evening. Get ready to relive this unforgettable anniversary and embark on an extraordinary festive journey! Let the adventure begin!
Welcome to Central Airport
On arrival, ‘the davs’ presented their boarding pass for check-in and were escorted by hostesses, stewards and ramp agents to the specially designed Central Airport. The four destinations and flight times were displayed on the welcome screens, providing travellers with all the information they needed for their next stopovers. Everyone’s faces were filled with enthusiasm as they prepared to travel the world without leaving Paris.
First stop: Japan ⛩️
Our first stop took us to the heart of Japan, where guests were immersed in an enchanting zen garden. They were greeted by a sumptuous setting bathed in the soft glow of traditional Japanese lanterns. A magnificent cherry blossom tree adorned the landscape, adding a delicate, poetic touch. The whole garden, with its harmoniously arranged stones, offered a haven of peace and serenity, allowing everyone to fully immerse themselves in the tranquillity of Japanese culture.
Second stop: New York 🗽
After this immersion in Asia, we were off to New York! The Nouveau Chalet du Lac was transformed into a sophisticated jazz club. The retro-chic ambience, accentuated by an art deco décor and soft lighting, provided the perfect setting for a trip back in time. Guests were enveloped in a quiet, sophisticated atmosphere. A piano and vocal duo entertained the davs with jazz tunes, taking them back to the glamorous speakeasies era.
Third stop: Kenya 🤠
Then it was off to Kenya for an exciting adventure with a change of scenery. Guests embarked on a jeep safari and discovered a large nomadic tent set up in the middle of the dunes. The raw wood décor, with its natural, authentic touches, plunged the davs into the heart of the wilderness. This immersive experience made them feel like real explorers on African soil, with their feet in the sand. It was a unique and captivating adventure that gave everyone a real taste of Africa.
Fourth stop: Amazonia 🌿
The journey culminated in an unforgettable immersion into the heart of the Amazon. Guests were transported to a lush green expanse where every plant added a touch of magic to the place. Each moment spent in this haven of peace offered a unique opportunity to reconnect deeply with nature, allowing guests to recharge their batteries and rediscover the wild beauty of the Amazon.
Duty free reunion and party
Between stops, guests gathered at the Central Airport, where davs could relax in the Playstation corner or send postcards to loved ones in the corner.
The atmosphere reached its peak thanks to the group Version Originale, who once again set the dance floor alight with an electrifying performance. Guests danced the night away, carried away by the catchy rhythms and boundless energy. Every moment was filled with joy and celebration.
Between dances, guests were treated to a variety of duty free treats. In line with our CSR commitment, we allowed each guest to choose their own souvenir, reducing waste, avoiding overproduction and ensuring maximum satisfaction.
To immortalise this extraordinary evening, we innovated by using Memento and artificial intelligence to allow everyone to access their photos in real time. These instant, personalised memories captured every smile and highlight of this round-the-world adventure.
