We won’t give you a long list of values to explain what Davidson is. It’s not that we lack them; we just prefer action over incantation. And managerial principles over grand declarations of intent. Among these: fairness among all Davidson employees, deep respect for our stakeholders (employees, clients, suppliers), mutual care, and the development of an adhocratic approach ensuring that change (especially participatory changes to our processes) becomes routine, not the exception.

Adhocracy (not to be confused with holacracy) is an organization whose functioning is based on consensus-seeking emerging from dialogue in which everyone can participate to improve processes and deliver on a promise. A horizontal company is a model theorized by Franck Ostroff in the early 1990s where hierarchy is limited, employee satisfaction is as important as customer satisfaction, creativity is encouraged, and information is transparent. Following our commitments to Quality of Work Life, we chose to join the B Corp movement in 2018. We thus became the first French technology consulting firm to obtain the certification, and renewed it in early 2022 (also receiving the label “Best for the World - Top 5 worldwide in the Employees category”). The Da Vidson Code is a collective work written by Dav’s for future Dav’s. It tells how we want to practice our consulting profession and what identity we want to give to our project. It sets in stone a number of managerial attitudes we want to preserve over time, provides guidelines for newcomers to protect our shared working environment, and brings together texts written by people smarter than us, who have inspired us. But above all, it expresses our passion for our craft and for this unique company project that is Davidson.
